Dr. Willis (we call him Dr. Steve) is so devoted to his patients (and their parents) that he has made house calls to our home to check on the well being of whichever of our pups is on the sick list. He is a dear man who truly loves what he does. When Honey went into labor with her one and only litter, he came by to make sure she was in labor, even though I have presided over the delivery of several litters of pups over the years. For his own peace of mind about Honey Bun, he wanted to make sure she was really in labor and doing well. He made sure he saw the new babies the next morning to pronounce them hale and hearty. He always takes the extra step to make sure they are cared for in the best possible way.
